Tinnberry Tote / Crossbody Tote
I'm excited to present my latest pattern available in my Etsy shop: the Tinnberry Tote Sewing Pattern. This pattern comes with a detailed tutorial, complete with pictures and illustrations, to guide you through every step. The Tinnberry Crossbody Tote features one outside zipper pocket, a crossbody strap in addition to short handles, and an inside pocket designed to fit a 13" laptop. You can choose to make this bag as a Tote with 2 short and 2 long handles or as a Crossbody Tote with 2 short handles and 1 long crossbody strap.
Finished dimentions: 38 x 31 x 13cm (15” x 12” x 5”)
The inside Laptop pocket 36 x 27cm (14” x 10 1⁄2”), fits 13” laptop
Materials and supplies:
• Fabric 1: Outer fabric – canvas, total fabric needed: 56 x 114 cm (22" x 45")
• Fabric 2: for the outer pocket – 33 x 33 cm (13” x 13”). You can use contrast canvas, heavy weight cotton, corduroy or any other pretty fabric
• Fabric 3: Cotton lining, total fabric needed: 115 x 125 cm (45" x 49")
• Medium weight fusible interfacing, total: 114 x 58 cm (45” x 23”)
• Cotton webbing: A: 32 mm (1 1⁄4") wide, 212 cm (84") long
B: 32 mm (1 1⁄4") wide, 220 cm (87”) long
• 2 zippers: 20 cm (8") long, 40 cm (16") long. Zipper tape width 29mm (1 1/4”)
• 2 pieces of leather for the short handles: 2 x 20 cm (8" x 3/4")
• 2 pieces of leather for the zipper pull: 10 cm (4") long, width depends on the size of the zipper pull
• Needle no. 80 – 90 (Jeans/denim)
• Double-sided sewing tape / Wonder tape
• Rotary cutter and cutting mat (or scissors)
• Ruler approx.60 cm (25")
• One snap
• Matching polyester thread (one matching your canvas, one matching the lining and one matching the leather)
• Wonder Clips and pins
• Zipper presser foot
• Disappearing fabric marker or chalk
